Shoppers 60+ say this walking pad ‘really makes a difference’ — it’s on mega-sale

Reaping the benefits of exercise doesn’t have to involve intense sprints or lifting heavy dumbbells. In fact, moving your body in ways you enjoy is best in the long run, as you’re much more likely to stick with activities that feel sustainable. And yes, that movement can be as simple as walking — but what happens when it’s too hot, cold, rainy or you don’t live in a walkable area? Enter: the Sperax Walking Pad, a lightweight, portable treadmill that can be used under a desk while working or in front of the TV while bingeing your favorite shows. This versatile machine was purchased over 20,000 times in the past month (!) and happens to be on mega-sale at Amazon. Now that’s what we call a hot (to “trot”)-ticket item!

Walk (or jog) right this way — this is one sale you won’t want to “skip.”

Why is it a good deal? 💰

If we were to break it down by monthly costs, this treadmill is about $13 per month — far less than the price of most gym memberships. It’s also a steal compared to many pieces of at-home exercise equipment (for example, the Peloton Tread is nearly $3,000). Now, upon checking our price trackers, we’re fairly convinced the original listed price of $2,000 is inflated, which also applies to the more-than-90% markdown (the highest-ever price showing up for us is around $400). That said, you’re still saving about 60% given that parameter, and it’s never dipped lower than it is now. Be sure to apply the on-page coupon for the full discount.

Why do I need this? 🤔

At 45 pounds, the Sperax Walking Pad is light enough that it can be moved around your home, and the fact that it has wheels makes this task even easier. But don’t be fooled by its lack of heft — it’s still durable enough to support up to 320 pounds. It arrives pre-assembled and ready to use, though you might find you have to apply the included lubricating oil if the shock-absorbing, anti-slip walking belt feels too dry.

Its three settings include work mode, walking mode and running mode, the fastest reaching up to 3.8 MPH. Via the user-friendly display, you’ll be able to track your time, speed, calories and total mileage. (It comes with a remote that you can use to adjust the speed or stop the machine while you’re using it.) Because it has a quiet motor, you’re unlikely to disturb anyone while you’re walking — and when your workout is complete, its short profile allows you to slide it under a bed or sofa if you want to store it out of sight.

What reviewers say 💬

Over 3,600 Amazon customers say this treadmill “steps” up to the plate.

Pros 👍

“I’m now 61 years old,” shared one satisfied shopper. “I enjoyed walking outdoors to get back in shape, but when the weather was inclement, obviously I couldn’t go out for my workout. When I saw this treadmill … I had to give it a shot, and it was well worth the purchase! Now I can walk whenever I wish, set it for my pace, monitor my steps and heart rate and walk indoors regardless of the weather!”

“I’m almost 70,” wrote another fan. “I have a desk job and I live in Florida where it’s hot, so needless to say, I don’t get out much. This walking pad has really made a difference in my physical fitness regime, which was non-existent without it. I’m able to get my steps in during my favorite TV program (for consistency) and I’m feeling so much better.”

“It’s so light, convenient and perfect for my home workout!” exclaimed a third. “And even though it’s very light, it’s still very solid and durable; I feel safe and stable when walking on it, even at higher speeds!”

Cons 👎

“Perfect for small spaces,” raved a user. “I’m 65, and it was easy to unbox and get started right away.” That said, they did have a few notes. “It doesn’t have a handle, but I make sure I’m close to a chair or the countertop if I need more stability. I do wish the cord was longer, but I use it with a power strip.”

“Great walking pad so far,” said a final reviewer, adding, “While I haven’t encountered any issues whatsoever with the walking pad, I do wish it had an option to stop the treadmill without losing the progress. It would be helpful to be able to pause and resume my workout without losing track of my distance and time.”
