Peloton’s Kendall Toole reveals why she left the company

Peloton instructor Kendall Toole revealed she left the fitness company after five years for a “multitude of reasons.”

“It was time for contract renegotiations,” she shared in a TikTok video Monday. “The most important thing was I just felt like it was time for me to evolve in my career.”

Toole, 31, admitted she does “miss teaching” and her devoted riders but said she was going to “build something for” herself.

“I’m ready … for something much bigger and to go after my own dreams,” she said. “You can’t stay in one place and expect for things to change and happen for you.”

The athlete concluded her message by telling her followers that she “outgrew” her hermit crab “shell” and was off to find “the new one.”

She later reposted the video on Instagram with the caption, “I am so excited for what I am building next, for stepping out into faith, and to betting on myself and my dreams. If I didn’t do it now, I would forever regret it.”

Ross Rayburn and Kristin McGee also left the company around the same time. Facebook

“With a world filled with chaos, drama and division I am keeping my focus on what can be created as a positive force,” she continued.

“And that keeps my energy focused on the future and taking that vision I have to REALITY.”

Known for her punk rock playlists, Toole announced in June she was departing the exercise organization, as did fellow instructors Ross Rayburn and Kristin McGee.

Last month, Peloton’s Jess King addressed the shocking exits while in conversation with Page Six at the Cannes Lions festival.

“I love my teammates. Everyone has their own reasons and unique experiences for how they navigate the Peloton landscape and their careers and professionally. … There have never been any bad apples,” the DJ, 39, told us at Stagwell Sport Beach.

“Personally, I wish them so so well. They will be deeply missed on my team, and I know our community is grieving.”
